This is actually very possible because my university is fairly close to Louisiana. A lot of my classmates go to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, so I may join them next year! Also, my best friend from elementary school has family in New Orleans (and I have family in Baton Rouge), so I could meet up with one of them if I wanted to.
